Do’s and Don’ts of Griha Pravesh Pooja

1	Grihapravesh must be done at favorable times, or Shubh Muhurat must be selected because muhurta plays a major role.	Kala puja is not to occur during Yamaganda and it is necessary to avoid entering the house because it may not suit you.
2	Clean the whole house, such as floors, doors, windows, and roofs, using water.	Should not remain one place to be cleaned
3	Use a wet cloth to clean the furniture because cleanliness is godliness.	Don’t shift the furniture, keep it as mentioned in Vastu Sastra
4	Remove evil eye by breaking a pumpkin before Griha Pravesh.	Do not enter without breaking the pumpkin because it will remove the evil eye.
5	Enter with cow and calf because they are considered pious enough to purify your house.	Don’t let anyone in after cleaning up the house before Grihapravesh, such as servants, cats, animals, etc because it will invite alakshmi.
